El Clasico, Man United vs Chelsea headline the top fixtures this weekend in Europe's big-six leagues
Several exciting domestic league fixtures are scheduled to take place in Europe, the Premier League being one of them. Matchday 6 kicks off on Friday with Aston Villa's 3:00 PM ET trip to Leeds as the second-placed Grealish and Co. look to add Bielsa's men to their list of victims this season. However, the excitement begins the following day starting with Man United's clash with Chelsea at 12:30 PM ET (live on NBC Sports, Telemundo, and SiriusXM FC). Once a fixture between England's title contenders, this tie is now a showdown between two top-four hopefuls in search of their groove.
The Red Devils began the season extremely poor, losing their first two home games – 3-1 to Crystal Palace and 6-1 to Spurs. However, Solskjaer's men head into this tie on the back of consecutive wins, beating Newcastle 4-1 and winning 2-1 at PSG in the Champions League. As for the Blues, they have drawn their last two fixtures, throwing away a 3-0 lead against Southampton to end 3-3 only to then play out a goalless stalemate against Sevilla in the UCL. League leaders Everton travel to Southampton that same day while Tottenham face Burnley on Monday with the aim of recovering from that 3-3 draw with West Ham.
The standout game of the weekend takes place in Spain, however, with Barcelona and Real Madrid locking horns in the always-exciting El Clasico this Saturday, live on beIN Sports and Fanatiz USA for fans in the United States. Spain's top two dogs head into this clash on the back of 1-0 defeats in the league, with Los Blancos falling to Cadiz and the Blaugrana losing to Getafe. Messi and Co. have since bounced back, winning 5-1 in their opening Champions League fixture, but the same can't be said for Zidane's men, losing 3-2 at home to Shakhtar. Some outlets suggest a third straight defeat could cost the French tactician his job but that is not certain. Another worrying uncertainty is the availability of iconic club captain Sergio Ramos as he is a doubt for El Clasico, having sat out the recent UCL defeat. Do not miss this game!

El Clasico isn't the only interesting tie scheduled for this weekend. On Saturday, Bayern Munich will be in action, taking on Frankfurt, as will Dortmund who face Schalke in the Revierderby – both fixtures will be aired live on ESPN+ in the US. On Sunday, Fanatiz USA, ESPN+, and Rai Italia Nord America will bring Juventus' clash with Hellas Verona to the screens in the United States as the defending champions look to make amends for their 1-1 draw with Crotone. On Monday, ESPN+ will broadcast the showdown between Serie A leaders AC Milan and Roma as the Rossoneri aim to maintain their advantage at the top.

We got more European action this midweek, starting off with Matchday 2 in the UEFA Champions League this Tuesday and Wednesday. The Lokomotiv Moskva vs Bayern München and Shakhtar Donetsk vs Inter Milan 12:55 PM ET kick-offs get things underway but the game everyone is waiting for is Juventus vs Barcelona at 3:00 PM on Wednesday. Fans can catch this box-office clash live on UniMás, TUDN, UNIVISION, and CBS All Access as the champions of Italy lock horns with Messi and Co. in the first of two group-stage encounters. This tie was hyped up as the return of Cristiano vs Leo; unfortunately, the Portuguese legend could miss out on this fixture after testing positive for COVID-19 once again. Another player set to miss this tie is Gerard Pique, with the Spaniard being sent off against Ferencvaros.
That same day, Man United will take on RB Leipzig in another interesting clash. The Red Devils secured an excellent win at PSG in the opening round and will be keen on making it two wins out of two in what should be a heated race to top the group. Elsewhere, Real Madrid will be traveling to Borussia M'gladbach on Tuesday as they go in search of their first win of the 2020/21 UCL campaign.
In the Europa League, Arsenal will play their first home game of the season, hosting Dundalk after their narrow and unconvincing 2-1 triumph over Rapid Wien. Arteta could field another experimental XI in this fixture so fans should keep their eye out for this one. Italian giants AC Milan take on Sparta Praha live on TUDN and CBS All Access as they look to grab the top spot away from Lille while Bayer Leverkusen are set to do battle with Slavia Praha at 3:00 PM ET.

Schelotto's side sit bottom of the table in the Western Conference but will look to salvage some pride with a win over their bitter neighbors. As for Liga MX, the standout fixture from the upcoming round of games is Guadalajara vs Cruz Azul. Only a single point separates La Máquina from second-place Pumas UNAM while Chivas could break into the top five with a win should sixth-placed Monterrey and fifth-placed America suffer defeats.
