The Spanish boss replied to the defender in stylish fashion in regards to Los Blancos' increased chances of winning La Liga after Friday's draw between Sevilla and Barcelona.

Gerard Piqué's words about how Barcelona's chances of winning La Liga went down after Friday's goalless tie against Sevilla had an echo, which made it all the way to Zinedine Zidane's ears.

Implying that Real Madrid will get some help from the referees (especially after a controversial offside call against Valencia on Thursday), Piqué claimed that winning La Liga is no longer in Barcelona's hands. Zidane decided to reply in elegant fashion, but he did not shy away from Piqué's implications.

"They can say whatever they want. All I care about is tomorrow's game. I have my own opinion, because it could happen the other way around (having refs helping Barcelona), but I am only thinking about tomorrow,"Zidane stated.

The manager went on to discuss how his team will try to earn the most points in these games, disregarding any "help" from the refs.

"I am lucky enough to do what I like, not everyone can say the same. I could also go around complaining about life, like some people do, but as a coach, speaking about something in negative fashion will not change anything. The refs are not helping us, and that's it," Zidane added.

The French tactician discussed how Los Blancos will try to adapt to a crowdless stadium when they visit Anoeta on Sunday after two games.

"After two good games we have to keep the same intensity. He have prepared this game properly, even with the lack of rest between the matches. It will be our first game on the road, and it will be against a great team. We are aware of the difficulties, but we want to leave a good impression," Zidane concluded.
