The Brazilian right back demanded an exit from the Old Lady with his strange behaviour both on and off the pitch. An EPL team seems to be his next destination.

The last few weeks saw Dani Alves entering a downward spiral with Juventus' fans. His controversial statements, Instagram posts and taunts against the bianconeri's execs have finally ended with the player's certain departure from Italy this summer.

Giuseppe Marotta, Juve's CEO, admitted that Alves is set to leave the Old Lady after just one season, following his strange behaviour and a petition by his agent to let the player go.

"Dani Alves has made you want to try an alternative experience, we will make a consensual resolution, and we wish him every luck.Surely there is bitterness for what he said, but I confirm that there was no break," Marotta stated.

Juve's exec referred to Alves' words about the team not being competitive enough to challenge Real Madrid to the UEFA Champions League title. His statements demanding Paulo Dybala to leave the club to pursue "a greater challenge" didnt' help his cause that much. Alves' latest jibe against his former employers came with an Instagram post, where he showcased the boots he wore against Juventus in the 2015 UCL final while playing for Barcelona, which ended in a 3-1 win for Los Blaugranas.

Despite these incidents, Marotta doesn't believe Alves' time with the Serie A champions was wasted.

"It's not a failure, motivation is important for a player," Marotta added.

Alves' next team could very well be Manchester City, as the Brazilian right back hasn't hidden that he would love a reunion with former Barcelona boss Pep Guardiola.
