The Frenchman's side are already without two key defenders for Saturday's Wembley clash with Chelsea.

Sunday was a bad day for Arsenal. The Gunners won their final game of the season, beating Everton 3-1, but sadly missed out on the Champions League. Wenger’s men finished in fifth, putting an end to Arsene’s run of top-four finishes.

Furthermore, the north London outfit lost two key defenders in the form of Laurent Koscielny and Gabriel Paulista. The French center-back was sent off, meaning he will miss the FA Cup final, whilst his Brazilian team-mate was stretchered away with a knee injury that "doesn't look too good".

Wenger’s worries for the Wembley Stadium showdown with Chelsea went from bad to worse, as reports emerged that Shkodran Mustafi is now likely to miss the final. The German suffered a concussion on Tuesday in Arsenal’s win over Sunderland.

The defender took a knock to the head on Tuesday, ruling him out for Sunday’s final game of the season. Mustafi was tipped to return for Saturday’s final, but his concussion is more serious than initially expected.

This leaves the Gunners with three senior center-backs. This means Per Mertesacker will return to the starting lineup and will be put in an unusual partnership with Rob Holding and Nacho Monreal.
