Pierre-Emerick Aubamameyang’s stellar form with Borussia Dortmund has resulted in several transfer rumors. The Gabonese ace has suitors in the English Premier League, but it’s popular belief that Real Madrid is where he’ll end up.
However, not many would have tipped the 27-year-old to make a return to Serie A until now, that is. According to reports out of Italy (as per Football Italia), former employers AC Milan are ready to bring back the speedy forward to San Siro.
Aubameyang appears to be ready for a new adventure come this summer, and the Rossoneri will pull out all the stops for the Dortmund striker once their Chinese takeover is complete. Once the formalities with Sino-Europe Sports are complete, the Italian giants will reportedly be awarded a €100m transfer chest.
Ac Milan won’t stop at signing Aubameyang in their plan to return to the top of European football. The Serie A side will also try to lure unhappy Man City striker Sergio Aguero and Roberto Mancini to San Siro.
The Italia club will face competition for the Gabonese superstar. The Sun claim that both Liverpool and Man City are ready to battle it out for the Dortmund ace. This could be a problem for any suitors, as Klopp’s relationship with the striker – having brought Pierre to the Bundesliga – could prove instrumental.
