One particular issue that had baffled many fans was the fact that the Newcastle United midfielder was rather dull last season as the ex-Premier League outfit were demoted to the Championship. But judging from the performance of the 26-year-old star on Sunday against Seleccao, he does not seem to be ready to play Championship football next season.
