Premier League table leaders Leicester City could play at least two games without their key striker Jamie Vardy. The England international has already been suspended for one match following the red card he received against West Ham last weekend. He will now miss the next league game against Swansea but if found guilty of improper conduct towards referee Jon Moss, the ban could be increased to at least one more match.

Vardy allegedly called the centre referee a ‘f**king c*nt’ after being shown the second yellow card, which effectively kicked him out of the rest of the match at the King Power Stadium. The Foxes went ahead to secure a 2-2 draw against the Hammers.

The referee noted the incident in his match report and as a result, the FA has decided to press charges against the lethal forward. If found guilty of the offense, Vardy could miss one more league match, hence taking the tally to two.
The FA has also charged Leicester City for failing to control their players against the Hammers. Both Vardy and Leicester now have until Thursday to respond to the charges.
The ban comes at a time when the Foxes need to be at their deadliest form in their remaining four matches as the title race gets tougher with every match. They face Swansea at home this weekend, then travel to Old Trafford to face Man United, before returning home to face Everton. They will then end their title campaign at the Stamford Bride against Chelsea in what is expected to be a thrilling season-ender.
