Today, March 11, 2016, marks the 38th birthday of one of the greatest players to have graced Chelsea: Didier Drogba.
The Ivorian striker, who currently plies his trade in Major League Soccer with Canadian side Montreal Impact, enjoyed a tremendous, trophy-ladden career in two spells with the London giants.
Drogba, who arrived at Stamford Bridge in 2004 for £24, scored 164 goals for the Blues in all competitions in 381 appearances, becoming the club’s third all-tie highest scorer and the highest scoring African player in the Premier League.
Goals, though, were not the only highlights of his Chelsea career, winning several trophies with Chelsea, including four English Premier League titles, four FA Cup trophies, three League Cups, and a Champions League.

With the former Elephants captain turning 38, the Premier League marked the Montreal Impact attacker’s birthday with a video montage of some of his memorable goals in England.
Included were strikes against some of the biggest names in the league, such as Liverpool, Everton, Arsenal, and Manchester United. Check out the video below.

Drogba’s team will be in action on Saturday against New York Red Bulls, as well as former side Chelsea in their FA Cup clash with Everton, but will not feature in the weekend game as he will not play on artificial turf.
