Louis Van Gaal and Manchester United seem to have caught a break, as David De Gea's knee scans showed no signs of serious damage.
The Spanish goalkeeper was set to start in the first leg of their UEFA Europa League clash against Midtjylland, but the team's doctors decided to not to let him play, as he seemed to have damaged his knee during his warmup exercises.
The Daily Mail states that De Gea "is now believed to be hopeful of returning to the United starting line-up within a matter of days rather than weeks".
De Gea is listed as doubtful for Man United's FA Cup game against Shrewsbury on Monday, but if everything works out OK, he could feature in the second leg of the Europa League match against the Danish champions and in the crucial Premier League tie against Arsenal next weekend.
