Neymar and David Luiz are Brazil's biggest absences for this game. Venezuela only has one win in 22 meetings against Brazil.

Brazil has not been able to win any of their last two official games and the team managed by Dunga hopes to end that streak against Venezuela playing at home. The team is coming off a painful 2-0 loss against Chile in the World Cup Qualifiers opener.

The bad news for them is that Neymar will also have to stay away from this game as he will be fulfilling the four-game suspension that he received in his last game in the Copa America. The Barcelona striker will be back for the CONMEBOL derby against Argentina on November 13.

A new absence in Dunga's roster will be David Luiz. The Paris Saint-Germain defender suffered a hamstring injury against Chile and will be out for approximately four weeks. The medical department of the five-time World Cup champion also announced that the reserve goalkeeper Marcelo Grohe had to leave camp with injuries.

It is up to the rest of Dunga's team, to prove many people wrong after they claim that the team has a huge Neymar-dependency. It is time for players like Thiago Silva, Marquinhos, Marcelo and others to show that they are made off to avoid a second defeat in a row and have one of its worst starts in WC Qualifiers.

The two teams met in the past Copa America and it was Brazil the team that won with a 2-1 scoreline. That was their tenth head to head game since 1999. Venezuela has only beat Brazil once while the Verde-Amarelha has seven victories under their belt.

Venezuela also suffered a hard loss against Paraguay in the first game of the qualifiers. They know that starting 0-2 in CONMEBOL can really complicate things further down the road, so winning or at least snatching a draw from Fortaleza can give Noel Sanvicente's team some confidence for their upcoming games.

The visiting team knows that most of the pressure is on Brazil, which had never lost a W.C. Qualifier Opener. They believe that the young talent in this team in hungry to prove CONMEBOL they deserve a spot in Russia 2018.
