The International Champions Cup is well underway, and Tuesday's match between Club América and San José Earthquakes will surely give fans quite a few thrills.
Club América kicked off this tournament's action facing L.A. Galaxy this Saturday, losing 2-1 after enjoying an early lead. Coach Ignacio Ambriz had to start a lineup far from what the team's supporters expect, since several players are not available due to different commitments. The former Querétaro FC coach will try to win this one for his fans, with the help of such players as Colombians Andrés Andrade and Carlos Darwin Quintero, who scored for Las Águilas against the LA Galaxy. The former Liga MX champions could have Darío Benedetto available once again, after being granted the chance to be with his wife during the birth of his child last week.
On the other side of the pitch, the Goonies will have the chance to improve some issues that haven't worked for them in the current MLS season. Dominic Kinnear's men are currently ninth after 19 games played, with their last match ending in a 2-0 loss against Houston Dynamo.
Club América will have their third match of the tournament this Friday, when they clash against Manchester United. Meanwhile, the Quakes will take on the same opponent four days later.
