During the first half between Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain, Zlatan Ibrahimovic had a major role in the game's outcome, but not for his goalscoring skills. During the 31st minute mark, the Swedish striker tackled Oscar outside PSG's box after defending a corner kick. Dutch referee Björn Kuipers decided to send off Zlatan, sparking all sorts of comments. With Ibra out of commission, PSG's chances are harshly reduced, since Les Parisiens depend mostly on what he can do upfront.
Zlatan apparently takes the ball away from Oscar before hitting him.
Zlatan hits the ball with his left leg, and apparently touches Oscar's right leg.
Here's what fans and experts thought about Ibra's sending off
I dunno about that red card on Ibrahimovic in the first half, that was a bang bang play, oscar stuck out his foot last instant and got hit

I hope UEFA rescind Ibrahimovic's red card.

I actually don't see how he's decided that's a clear sending off that quickly . Reaction got #Ibrahimovic red carded

We have to give me again the definition of a red card . I don't get it anymore #Ibrahimovic

Not a Red, Ibrahimovic sent off unfairly, typical Chelsea player reactions as well. No wonder PSG are bemused...

I hope Mourinho will be banging on about refereeing mistakes after that Ibrahimovic red card.

Wow, red card for Ibrahimovic...

Never should have been a red card for Ibrahimovic. Yellow at the most. Big break for Chelsea.

Zlatan leaves the pitch after being sent off.
