He who laughs last, last longest. It has been the case with Manchester United and they could be laughing for much longer, should they defeat Cambridge United on Tuesday night.
When the Red Devils stumbled to a goalless draw away to this League Two side, they became the subject of ridicule in the press and among fans of rival teams on social media. Little did Chelsea, Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur supporters know that they would completely crash out of the 2014/15 FA Cup in the Fourth Round against minnows Bradford City, Middlesbrough and Leicester City respectively.

The question is: can Louis van Gaal – who is yet to establish stability since succeeding Moyes – prevent Man United from suffering an embarrassing upset? The home factor couldn’t help Chelsea, Man City and Tottenham avoid shocking defeats in the Fourth Round. Manchester United will be out to show how big boys are supposed to overcome the tricks of smaller sides like Cambridge United.
The winner of this 2014/15 FA Cup Fourth Round replay will face either Preston North End or Sheffield United on February 16th. The semi-finals will take place on April 18th and 19th at Wembley with the ultimate final set to occur on Saturday, May 30, 2015.
