Wenger and Ferguson promise to be professional toward each other when Arsenal host Manchester United on Sunday, April 28, 2013Miami Beach, Florida (April 27, 2013) – Arsenal vs Manchester United is the penultimate game on the fixture list of Matchday 35 in the English Premier League. Kick-off time is at 11:00am EST / 15:00 GMT / 17:00 CET on Sunday, April 28, 2013. Manchester United have promised to play competitively on Sunday despite the fact that they have already secured the English Premier League title. The pressure, meanwhile, is all on Arsenal. The Gunners are contemplating a top-four finish and possibly automatic Champions League ticket by ending the season in third position. Coach Arsene Wenger is ready for Sunday’s challenge as Spurs, Chelsea and Everton will be praying for Manchester United to prevent Arsenal from winning at the Emirates Stadium.

“What we know is that no matter in what state Man United will be, we will need a great performance to beat them and that's what we want to focus on,” said Wenger.

The match will see Arsenal do the Guard of Honour as Wenger insisted on its importance even if this might disgust a portion of die-hard fans.

“When you work somewhere abroad, you have to respect the culture of the country,” the French man explained. “That is part of the tradition of English football and I want that to be respected.”

Saluting Arsene Wenger’s attitude was Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson who declared:

“I am glad Arsene has done that. That is what great clubs should do.”

All eyes will be on Robin van Persie who left the Emirates in controversial fashion last summer. The Dutch striker may encounter mixed reactions from the crowd but Fergie is expecting his player to ignore boos and enjoy his Arsenal return.

Van Persie scored his 24th goal last Monday as his hat-trick sealed a 20th league title for the Red Devils. He is poised to find the net against his old club on Sunday.
