Few are those who can boast of having defeated Barcelona at the Camp Nou over the past two seasons. This weekend, Real Sociedad will travel to Catalonia and Llorente can only wish his side the best of luck.
The 31-year-old striker offered his comments to reporters ahead of Sunday’s Barcelona vs Real Sociedad match in La Liga. Contemplating the Catalans’ extraordinary form at the Camp Nou which was recently marked by their 5-0 defeat of Real Madrid, Joseba Llorente declared:

“It should be a nice game. Our intention is to travel to the Camp Nou with the aim of doing a good job. If we go into the match thinking that we’ll be victims or that we’ll play to concede as few goals as possible, then it’s clear that we are favorites to lose.

“We’ve got to enter the encounter without fear. We’ve got to fight for every ball. The only trick to getting a positive result there is to hope that we play at our best and that Barca don’t have a good day.

“It’s going to be tough. But, we have much to gain and little to lose. We will enjoy the game, because it’s happening at a good time. We have 22 points [in La Liga].”

Ahead of El Clasico last month, superstar Cristiano Ronaldo built his confidence on Real Madrid’s solid moment. However, Los Blancos experienced destruction in the space of 90 minutes away to Barcelona.

Will Real Sociedad, who have been doing remarkably well so far, suffer a similar setback this weekend?
