The 2019-20 Primeira Liga season is picking up a good pace, with Benfica now on top of the league thanks to Porto's recent slip-up against Maritimo.
Since Matchday 9 took place during the week, Matchday 10's activity will begin this Saturday, in order to give those teams that played on Thursday enough down time. Porto's boss Sergio Conceicao hmay have to face a ban from Primeira Liga authorities, since he went over his head with a recent statement after the draw against Maritimo. The tactician admitted that he was not satisfied with the outcome of the game, but his expletive language could force him to pay over $3000 for his choice of words.
"I know I will be slammed on social media after this result. I'm taking a sh*t in my pants right now," were the words used by the coach. The main problem for him is that the statement was broadcast live on Portuguese TV.
