Seeing a Real Madrid player join Barcelona would be a dagger to the hearts of Los Blancos fans. Thus, it comes as no surprise that the Bernabeu faithful are closely following rumors linking Isco with a Camp Nou switch.
The Spaniard has played his part in Les Merengues climb to the top of La Liga, but has been handed lesser playing time than preferred. Although the player himself has gone on the record to state he is happy at Real Madrid, the rumors continue to persist.
The midfielder fueled the reports by posting a picture on social media of him with friends enjoying snacks, one of which was a packet of Barca-branded chips. Fans were quick to draw conclusions and demand, forcing the 24-year-old to delete the picture.
A day has not passed since this social media blunder on the part of the former Malaga ace, but he has already issued a statement to reassure worried and skeptic fans. He wrote on Twitter:
“I'm not going to Barca. With the photo, I wanted to say that we wanted to eat them with potatoes. #HalaMadrid!!”

“By the way I have not tried them! They were for my friends.”
Do you believe Isco?
