Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has opened up about Paul Pogba’s best-kept secret. The Italian manager, who coached Pogba at Juventus when the latter left Old Trafford four years ago, was speaking during a pre-match press conference. The Blues host the Red Devils at the Stamford Bridge on Sunday in what promises to be an epic Premier League encounter.

Pogba’s world-record return to Old Trafford over the summer of 2016 sent Man United fans into a frenzy considering his cold departure four years ago under the legendary Sir Alex Ferguson. Initially, there were reports doing rounds on social media that the 23-year-old was unhappy with how the former Man Utd boss handled his situation at the club and that he would not consider a chance to wear the red shirt once again.
And speaking towards the Sunday clash at the Bridge, Conte revealed that a return to Old Trafford was Pogba’s dream, contrary to what a section of the media had consistently reported. He said:
"He [Pogba] was born in England in a football aspect and he came back.
"When we took him from Manchester United he was a fantastic player. He deserves it all.
"For him to come back to Man United was his dream. I wish for him only best - but only after the game."
