An alleged Arsenal worker hands in his resignation after Le Prof hinted that the club’s 600 employees are restricting the Gunners’ spending.

A letter from an alleged employee of Arsenal is making the rounds on the Internet, claiming he has quit his post in protest of Arsene Wenger’s justification for the lack ofcnew signings.

The former employee at the Gunners’ shop has resigned as employee but not as a fan and revealed he hopes his actions will force the Frenchmen to reconsider his activity – or lack of it – in the transfer marker.

In the letter that went viral, he states he hopes he is no longer a burden to the north London side. This was, as he states, a clear response in the wake of Wenger’s bewildering claims that one of the reasons he has not bought new players is due to limiting spending in line with their responsibilities to their 600 employees.

"I'd spend £300million if I find the player and I had £300million," the Frenchman recently stated, as per the Mirror. "Do not forget we are a club who has 600 employees who we have to have a responsibility to as well."

The man, who goes by the name of “Arsenal Player” on Twitter, claims he used to earn £14,040 per year, 10 times less what the misfiring and under-fire Theo Walcott earns in a week.

The long-time Arsenal boss has been under fire for not completing a marquee signing since Granit Xhaka earlier this summer, and the pressure piled up after Arsenal’s disappointing draw to Leicester City and loss at home to the Liverpool in their opening game.

In the post-game press conference, Le Prof was grilled once more on his lack of activity in incoming transfers this summer before going on to make his shocking claim.

The Gunners goal-less draw with the Foxes on Saturday saw many of its fans at the King Power Stadium turn to booing their side’s boss, calling for his resignation. This, unfortunately, is nothing new for Arsenal.
