As both teams prepared to start the semi-final clash, a young man made his way into the pitch and even managed to appear in the team's Starting XI photo. He attempted to take a selfie with Cristiano Ronaldo, who had a laugh with the teenager and escorted him out of the pitch.
During the Round of 16 game against Croatia, a pitch invader tried to hug Cristiano Ronaldo during extra time, but the tournament's security protected the Portuguese ace, making the fan's attempt futile.

Joao Mario was surprised the youngster made it all the way to the team's formation.
The teenager even took a selfie with the 3-time Ballon D'Or winner.
