Isaac Cuenca has been in great form recently, scoring two goals against Sevilla on Sunday as Granada guaranteed their spot in La Liga for next season. The 25-year old winger spoke to Cadena Ser in the build up for this weekend's clash and regardless of his past as a Blaugrana, the Spanish striker is not letting sentiment stand in the way of possibly denying La Liga title to Luis Enrique's men.
Speaking to Jose Ramon de la Morena, the Reus-born wide man said:
"I will approach this game at 100% and I will give everything for Granada. To score the winning goal in the last minute would be perfect, it would be amazing. I don't think my Catalan friends, when I go home, would hold it against me. I play for Granada and I'm sure a lot of them would be happy for me."
Cuenca is also convinced that his side will deliver a great performance and make it tough for Messi and Co. to win their much needed three points.
"Granada will give a good image of themselves on Saturday and we will make things really difficult for Barça."
Yet, the ex-Blaugrana still has affection for the team that gave him the spotlight to grow into a popular footballer.
"Of course, in the Champions League, for example, I always want them to win. Above all because I like their style of play and for my ex-team-mates."
