Manchester United wants Los Blancos to meet their £33m price tag on their goalkeeper. He is currently elegible to play with the Red Devils.

David de Gea is starting to become impatient with the transfer window about to close ,but he is confident that his future is not in Old Trafford but with Real Madrid in the Santiago Bernabeu. The Spanish goalkeeper knows that there is still one more offer coming from Real Madrid to sign him before it's too late.

Manchester United wants Madrid to pay £33m for De Gea but the La Liga runner-ups believe that is a bit high for De Gea and have not been willing to meet that request made by the Red Devils. With less than five days left in the transfer window, Jorge Mendes is also hopeful that the move will be done.

With the ongoing situation, Louis van Gaal has told De Gea to stay in the stands during the home games and he is not even asked to travel with the team for away games. Right now, it is recently-signed Sergio Romero who is taking care of what was De Gea's spot in most games last season.

Mendes, who is also Cristiano Ronaldo's agent, won't be happy unless his client is happy and it seems like the days of De Gea with Manchester United can be counted. The 24-year old player relationship with his current manager, Louis van Gaal, has been deteriorating lately.

The argument of LVG to keep De Gea sidelined early in the season is that he has lost focus with the transfer saga. Also, it is said that the goalkeeper has refused to play due to the situation he is going through, but he is still getting paid.

He is still training with the team, he is just not participating in games. Some of his teammates like Juan Mata really feel that De Gea is focused on solving his situation. Meanwhile, he has acted properly, staying with the club he belongs to and not making a big circus out of it.

'De Gea is calm, training extremely well and being the great professional that he always is,' was what Mata said to a Spanish media outlet.
