The BBC has acquired UK rights to the UEFA Champions League for the 2024-2027 cycle. It is the first time that the British public service broadcaster has landed TV rights to this competition. BBC’s Champions League contract includes match highlights on television, as well as on BBC iPlayer and the BBC Sport website and mobile apps.

Live coverage of the Scottish Championship is available on the BBC, thanks to an agreement between the free-to-air broadcaster and the Scottish Professional Football League (SPFL).
The deal, which runs until the end of the 2028-29 season, includes the rights to up to 30 live matches each season, up from the previous agreement of 20.

The primary highlights show, which is called Sportscene, is broadcast for free on BBC Scotland each weekend with two episodes typically airing - one on Saturday night and one on Sunday night.
