What to watch in women's football: May 17th to May 19th

NWSL

It is still early on but things are really getting interesting over in the NWSL. At the moment, there are two teams joint-tied for points at the top of the table: Kansas City Current and Orlando Pride. The Pride have been arguably the most in-form side over the past few rounds, and come into their Sunday match against Seattle Reign on a six game winning streak in the NWSL. Meanwhile, the Current, who are on top of the table thanks to their slightly better goal difference, could extend their lead to three points (albeit for less than 24 hours) as they host a struggling Racing Louisville on Saturday.

WSL

Just as the Premier League title race will be going down to the final matchday, things are also quite intense over in the Women's Super League. At the moment, the contenders are Chelsea, who are aiming to successfully retain their title, and Manchester City, who will be aiming to be part of a clean sweep and ensure that both Manchester City's men's and women's teams clinch the league crown.

All games on the final day of the 2023/24 Women's Super League season will be taking place on Saturday, May 18th at 10 am. The key ties to keep one's eyes on will surely be Aston Villa vs Manchester City and Chelsea vs Manchester United, which fans can live stream starting at 10 am EST (7 am PST) on Paramount+. Meanwhile, although they are not in contention to win the WSL title, Arsenal will nonetheless be looking to finish as high as possible and potentially sneak into second spot when they host Brighton.

Serie A (Women)

Although the Scudetto has already been decided, with Roma successfully defending their title a few weeks ago, there are still some games to tune into, with double headers on Saturday on Sunday. Saturday's games include Sassuolo vs Juventus, which will be live-streamed on DAZN USA for fans based in the United States at 9 am EST (6 am PST), while DAZN USA will also be live-streaming two games on Sunday starting with Pomigliano vs Napoli at 6:30 am EST followed by Roma vs Fiorentina at 8:30 am EST.
