Robbie Keane could make his MLS debut on Saturday as the LA Galaxy host San Jose.
The Galaxy currently lead the Western Conference, and will be looking to extend their five point lead with a won over the rival Earthquakes.

FC Dallas and Seattle Sounders FC are the two teams directly below LA in the Western Conference, and they will face off in Texas on Saturday night.

It will be first against second in the East as the Columbus Crew go head to head with the Philadelphia Union.

The Houston Dynamo and Real Salt Lake both currently occupy the wild card playoff spots, and they will meet in Texas. The Colorado Rapids are currently the top wild card seed, and will play host to Chivas USA on Saturday night.
 

The playoff chasing Houston Dynamo will travel East to face the struggling New England Revolution on Tuesday night.





The third placed Dynamo are currently 10 points ahead of the Revolution, who are only one place off the bottom of the Eastern Conference table.





New England will be looking to bounce back from their 3-1 loss at the Columbus Crew last weekend, while the Dynamo beat the Portland Timbers 2-1 last time out.





Franco Coria and Kheli Dube are ruled out for the Revolution, while Rajko Lekic and Sainey Nyassi are also sidelined with injury.





Rookie forward Will Bruin and midfielder Danny Cruz are ruled out with injury for the Dynamo.





Veteran forward Brian Ching will lead the Houston attack, and has scored three goals in his last three games.



Sporting Kansas City will continue their playoff challenge when they play host to the Portland Timbers.





Kansas City are only one point outside of the Eastern Conference playoff spots, while Portland are 14 points adrift in the West.





Sporting have host of injury problems with Davy Arnaud, Aurelien Collin and Craig Rocastle among those on the treatment table. Luke Sassano, Konrad Warzycha and new signing Danell Cyrus are also ruled out with injury.





Midfielder Jack Jewsbury has been a star performer for Portland so far this season, and is expected to shake off a hamstring injury in time to face his former club. Kevin Goldthwaite, Spencer Thompson and Eddie Johnson are all out injured for the Timbers.



D.C. United can move into the Eastern Conference playoff spots with a win when they travel to face the Chicago Fire.





The last placed Fire played the New York Red Bulls to a 2-2 draw last time out, a result that was their 14th draw of the season. United are coming off an impressive 4-0 win over the Vancouver Whitecaps.





Mke Banner, Steven Kinney and Marko Maric are all ruled out with injury for the Fire. Dominic Oduro will lead the Fire attack and is in good form, the Ghanaian forward has scored a career best seven goals so far this season.





Branko Boskovic, Joe Willis and Jed Zayner are all injury absentees for United. Dwayne De Rosario will feature in midfield for D.C., the Canadian playmaker has registered six goals and three assists in the seven games he has played for the club so far.



The New England Revolution will play host to the New York Red Bulls in the latest installment of their I-95 rivalry last week.





The Red Bulls currently occupy the playoff spots but are above the team beneath them on tie-breaker alone. The Revolution are desperate for points, as they are 10 points behind the playoff wildcard spots.

Luke Rodgers, Carl Robinson and Frank Rost are out injured for New York, while Jan Gunnar Solli is questionable with a quad strain.


The Columbus Crew and Philadelphia Union will face off in a battle of the Eastern Conference’s top two teams.





The Crew currently lead the Eastern Conference, while Philadelphia are only three points behind them and have played one game less.





Tony Tchani and Shaun Francis are both sidelined with injury for the Crew, while Eddie Gaven is hoping to return from a leg injury. Striker Jeff Cunningham is also in injury doubt for the Crew and will be assessed ahead of kickoff.





Brian Carroll and Levi Houapeu are injury doubts for the Union and will be assessed ahead of kickoff.


The Houston Dynamo will play host to Real Salt Lake with both teams looking for points to boost their playoff bids.





Houston currently occupy a wildcard spot, while Salt Lake are four points above them.





Will Bruin and Danny Cruz are ruled out with injury for Houston, while Colin Clark is questionable with a knee injury.





Javier Morales, Chris Wingert and Ned Grabavoy are out injured for Salt Lake, while Jamison Olave is questionable with a knee strain.


The Colorado Rapids will be looking for their fourth straight win when they play host to Chivas USA on Saturday night.





The Rapids currently occupy the top wildcard seed, while Chivas are one point outside of the playoff places, and will be looking to climb into them with a win.





Conor Casey and Anthony Wallace are out injured for the Rapids, while Jamie Smith is questionable with ah hamstring strain.





Chivas have reported a clean bill of health, and could field the same team that drew 0-0 with Seattle Sounders FC last time out.


Western Conference contenders FC Dallas and Seattle Sounders FC will go head to head in Texas on Saturday.





Seattle are currently third place in the West, while Dallas are one place and one point above them.





Both teams are also coming off CONCACAF Champions League in midweek. Seattle beat Communicaciones of Guatemala 4-1, while Dallas became the first MLS team to win in Mexico as they downed Pumas 1-0.





Edson Edward, David Ferreira and Maykel Galindo are out injured for Dallas, while George John is suspended.





Steve Zakuani is a long term injury absentee for the Sounders, while O’Brian White is questionable after leg surgery.


Two expansion franchises will go head to head at JELD-WEN Field when the Portland Timbers play host to the Vancouver Whitecaps FC.





The Timbers will be looking to avoid their third straight loss, while Vancouver have been beaten 4-0 twice in their last three games.





The Timbers are currently five points behind the wild card playoff spots, while the Whitecaps are last place in the Western Conference.





Kevin Goldthwaite and Spencer Thompson are out injured for the Timbers, while Jack Jewsbury and Troy Perkins are expected to recover from injury in time to play.





Atiba Harris and Russell Teibert are out injured for the Whitecaps, while Alain Rochat is questionable with an adductor strain.


The Western Conference leading Los Angeles Galaxy will play host to the San Jose Earthquakes on Saturday.





The Galaxy will be looking to extend their five point lead at the top of the table, while the struggling Earthquakes will be looking to end an 11 game winless streak.





Los Angeles could hand a debut to Republic of Ireland international striker Robbie Keane who joined the club this week from Tottenham Hotspur.





Leonardo and Donovan Ricketts are out injured for the Galaxy, while Chad Barrett and David Beckham are injury doubts.





Andre Luiz, Ike Opara and Alan Gordon are out injured for the Earthquakes, while Scott Sealy and Bobby Burling are injury doubts.





Sporting Kansas City will play host to fellow playoff contenders D.C. United on Sunday.





Kansas City are currently third in the Eastern Conference and on course for an automatic playoff berth, while D.C. are outside of the wildcard spots on tie breakers alone.





Kansas City have a lengthy injury list that includes Davy Arnaud, Aurelien Collin and Danell Cyrus. Craig Rocastle, Luke Sassano and Konrad Warzycha are also ruled out for Sporting.
