FC Dallas will look to keep up their Western Conference title challenge when they play host to Chivas USA.
Dallas are currently six points behind the league leading Los Angeles Galaxy, while Chivas are eight points behind the playoff spots.

Star playmaker David Ferreira is a long term injury absentee for Dallas, while Edson Edward and Maykel Galindo are also sidelined. Central midfielder Daniel Hernandez is questionable with a knee injury.

Martin Chavez will feature in the Dallas attack after scoring two goals in a 2-2 draw with the New York Red Bulls last time out.

Veteran defender Jimmy Conrad and midfielder Ben Zemanski are doubtful for Chivas with concussion and an ankle injury respectively.

The Union will be hoping to pull ahead of the Columbus Crew and the New York Red Bulls, while the Rapids can move into the Western playoff spots with a victory.





Philadelphia will be looking to extend a five game unbeaten streak, while the Rapids have lost only one of their last five games.





Striker Levi Houapeu is listed as questionable for the Union, while in-form striker Carlos Ruiz will lead the Philadelphia attack. Veteran goal scorer Ruiz has netted three goals in his last four games.





Striker Conor Casey is ruled out for the Rapids, while Jamie Smith and Omar Cummings are expected to be fit for Colorado.



It will be top against bottom in the West on Saturday, when the first placed LA Galaxy travel to face last placed Vancouver Whitecaps FC.





Vancouver snapped a four game losing skid last time out with a 2-2 draw at the San Jose Earthquakes. The Galaxy will travel to Canada looking to extend a 13 game unbeaten streak.








Atiba Harris is out injured for Vancouver, while Omar Salgado is away playing for the USA U-17 national team. Jay DeMerit and John Thorrington are injury doubts and will be assessed ahead of kickoff.





Sean Alvarado, Leonardo and Donovan Ricketts are all out injured for LA, while David Beckham and Chris Birchall are suspended. Juan Pablo Angel, Chad Barrett and Landon Donovan are listed as questionable for the Galaxy.



Sporting Kansas City will be looking to extend their 12 game unbeaten streak when they play host to the New England Revolution on Saturday.





The Revolution will travel to Kansas City in poor form having won only one of their last 11 fixtures.





Davy Arnaud, Craig Rocastle and Konrad Warzycha are ruled out for Sporting, while Aurelien Collin is questionable with a back injury.





Kheli Dube is out injured for the Revolution, while Chris Tierney is suspended. Ryan Cochrane and Kevin Alston are injury doubts for New England.



The Houston Dynamo will be looking to extend their nine game unbeaten streak when they face Seattle Sounders FC in Texas.





Calen Carr is out injured for Houston due to a concussion, while Je-Vaughn Watson is suspended.
