The Eastern Conference leading New York Red Bulls will play host to D.C. United in the season’s second installment of the Atlantic Cup.
The Red Bulls beat United 4-0 the first time the teams met this season, and also are coming off a 5-0 midweek win over Toronto FC. United will be travelling to Red Bull Arena looking to snap a five game winless streak.

United midfielder Dwayne De Rosario and Red Bull player Dax McCarty will be facing their old teammates after the pair switched teams in a headline grabbing trade last month.

The Philadelphia Union will make a long trip West to face the San Jose Earthquakes on Saturday night.

San Jose will be looking to snap a four game winless streak against Philadelphia. The Union are only one point out of first place in the East, but have won only one of their last six games.

The Western Conference leading Los Angeles Galaxy will play host to the Chicago Fire on Saturday night.

The Fire are seventh in the East, but are unbeaten in their last 10 matches. The Galaxy are currently riding a 12 game undefeated streak in all competitions.
 

The New York Red Bulls can go top of the Eastern Conference with a home win over Toronto FC on Wednesday night.





The Red Bulls will enter the game looking to end a four game winless streak, while Toronto will be on a high after clinching the Nutrilite Canadian Championship over the weekend.





Mexican defender Rafael Marquez and Carl Robinson are out injured for New York, while Jan Gunnar Solli is listed as questionable.





Elbekay Bouchiba and and Adrian Cann are sidelined with injury for Toronto, while Dicoy Williams and Maicon Santos are also ruled out. Julian de Guzman and Nana Attakora are injury doubts for TFC, while Jacob Peterson and Alan Gordon are also struggling and will be assessed ahead of kickoff.



Sporting Kansas City will play host to the defending MLS Champion Colorado Rapids with both teams looking for a win to stay firmly in the playoff hunt.





Kansas City are unbeaten in their last 10 games in all competitions, while the Rapids have won only once in their last 10 outings.





Konrad Warzycha and Craig Rocastle will miss out with knee problems for KC, while Davy Arnaud and Seth Sinovic are also ruled out.





Quincy Amarikwa is suspended for Colorado, while Macoumba Kandji is doubtful with a knee problem. Matt Pickens and Omar Cummings are expected to shake off injuries in time to play for the Rapids.



The playoff chasing Columbus Crew will travel to Canada to face Vancouver Whitecaps FC.





Columbus are third placed in the Eastern Conference, while Vancoucer are at the bottom of the West.





Jay DeMerit and Atiba Harris are ruled out for Vancouver, while John Thorrington, Davide Chiumiento and Eric Hassli are injury doubts.





Josh Williams, Dilly Duka and Leandre Griffit are out injured ofr the Crew, while Emmanuel Ekpo and Andy Iro are suspended. Shaun Francis and Emilio Renteria are listed as doubtful and will be assessed ahead of kickoff.



Chivas USA will play host to California rivals the San Jose Earthquakes in a Western Conference showdown.





Chivas will be looking to snap a four game winless streak, while the Earthquakes have not won in their last three contests.

Calen Carr, Eddie Robinson and Cam Weaver are out injured for the Dynamo, while Jermaine Taylor is doubtful.

Javier Morales and Paulo Jr. are out injured for Salt Lake, while Nat Borchers is suspended. Arturo Alvarez is questionable with a hamstring injury, while Fabian Espindola and Alvaro Saborio are expected to play.





Edson Edward, David Ferreira and Maykel Galindo are all sidelined with injury for Dallas.

Portland currently sit eighth in the Western Conference and are winless in their last six games. Seattle are in third place, and are unbeaten in their last eight games.





Spencer Thompson and Rodney Wallace are ruled out with injury for the Timbers, while Bright Dike and David Horst are listed as doubtful.





O’Brian White and Steve Zakuani are ruled out for the Sounders, while Brad Evans should be fit to play after recovering from a hamstring problem.
