How to watch World Cup in Serbia

Croatian Radiotelevision owns the exclusive broadcast rights in Croatia for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The national broadcaster has secured a deal for all 104 matches at the tournament, from the opening match on 11 June through to the final on 19 July.

Croatia Radiotelevision’s World Cup 2026 coverage will be split between HRT2 on linear television in Croatia and HRTi, the broadcaster’s dedicated streaming platform.

All live matches on both platforms will come with Croatian-language commentary and analysis provided by HRT’s World Cup team. This team is made up of professional broadcasters, journalists and former professional footballers.

On top of live matches, HRT’s schedule throughout the 2026 World Cup is packed with complementary programming. Most notably, a programme called ‘Americana’ will air each night for 40 days from 10 June to 20 July, where the day's action is dissected.

Americana is hosted by Marko Šapit and Valentina Miletić, and the pair welcome special guests onto the show each evening for in-depth analysis.

Football fans in Croatia can use HRTi to stream all of Croatian Radiotelevision’s World Cup 2026 coverage live and on demand. HRTi is available for free online and as an app, which can be downloaded onto iOS and Android devices.

HRT holds the official broadcast rights to the World Cup in Serbia. The deal covers season 2030.

RTS owns the free-to-air broadcast rights in Serbia for the 2026 FIFA World Cup in Canada, Mexico and the United States.

The national broadcaster of Serbia has owned the FIFA World Cup rights in the country since 1994, and they have retained the rights for the 2026 and 2030 tournaments, which have been expanded to 48 teams for the first time.

RTS’ coverage of the World Cup is typically spread across the broadcaster’s two main channels - RTS 1 and RTS 2. However, RTS 3, a digital channel, can also be used if it is needed for any matches that are taking place simultaneously.

Live World Cup match coverage on RTS includes studio build-up and analysis, and match commentary in Serbian. Additionally, fans in Serbia are able to catch up on the latest scores and clips from the tournament via the regular news bulletins that air on RTS 1 and 2.

In addition to being available on free linear TV in Serbia, World Cup coverage is available for live streaming via RTS Planeta. This can be downloaded as an app onto smartphones, tablets and other compatible iOS and Android devices in Serbia.

All World Cup coverage on RTS is broadcast in Serbian.

Arena Sport owns non-exclusive broadcast rights in Serbia for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The pay-TV platform has the live rights to all 104 matches from the tournament, from the opening match between Mexico and South Africa on 11 June to the final at MetLife Stadium on 19 July.

The platform’s live World Cup coverage is being split primarily between Arena Sport Premium 1 and Arena Sport Premium 2. The other Arena Sport channels are on hand for any overlap and supplementary coverage.

All live World Cup matches on Arena Sport Premium 1 and Arena Sport Premium 2 follow the same structure. A studio show provides pre-match build-up and post-match analysis, while live Serbian-language commentary comes directly from the match.

Arena Sport is covering the World Cup beyond live matches, too. Throughout the tournament, replays and highlights are part of Arena Sport Premium 1 and Arena Sport Premium 2’s regular scheduling.

Arena Sport’s social media channels are also anticipated to keep followers updated on the latest scores and results for the duration of the tournament.
