Nova Sport is the official broadcaster of the UEFA Champions League in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, having secured the broadcast rights for the 2024-25 to 2026-27 cycle. This agreement allows for up to six fixtures per matchday, which fans can watch live on the linear Nova Sport 3 to Nova Sport 6 channels.

The Nova Sport channels can be accessed through O2 TV, Magenta TV, Vodafone TV, and Telly, with availability varying by provider, package, and region. In Slovakia, fans can additionally stream live UEFA Champions League matches via the streaming service Voyo, which carries the Nova Sport channels.

In Slovakia, the Voyo Maximum package provides access to Nova Sport 1 to 6, while in the Czech Republic, Voyo’s premium package includes Nova Sport 1 and 2 only. Voyo streaming service is available on Android and iOS devices (smartphones and tablets), PCs (recommended browsers: Chrome/Firefox on Windows/Linux, Safari on macOS), most smart TVs (Android, Apple, LG, Samsung, Hisense, Philips, Sony), and can be used with Google Chromecast for non-supported TVs.
Nova Sport has acquired broadcasting rights for the UEFA Europa League in the Czech Republic for the 2024-25 to 2026-27 seasons. With this agreement, Nova Sport 5 features first-choice matches live on TV and online via streaming.
Nova Sport holds broadcasting rights to the UEFA Conference League in the Czech Republic for the 2024-25 to 2026-27 seasons. Starting from the 2024-25 season, Nova Sport 5 viewers can expect top Conference League fixtures live every matchday.
Nova Sports has secured non-exclusive LaLiga broadcast rights in the Czech Republic and Slovakia following a sub-licensing agreement with Turkish corporation Saran Media Group. Nova Sports shows most LaLiga matches live in HD on its premium sports channels, Nova Sport 3 and Nova Sport 4, first launched in 2021.
More details The TV deal was initially reported to cover the 2024-25 season, but Nova Sports’ Spanish Primera Division rights are expected to continue until the end of the 2025-26 season. Depending on their location, be it the Czech Republic or Slovakia, users can watch LaLiga live via TV broadcasts and streams of Nova Sport 3 and Nova Sport 4 with different providers, including Slovak Telekom, O2 TV, and T-Mobile Ceska Republika.
Saran has secured exclusive English FA Cup rights in the Czech Republic and Slovakia from 2024-25 to 2027-28. The commercial broadcaster supports TV Nova networks via a distribution agreement, namely Nova Sport channels, which broadcast rights in Slovakia and the Czech Republic.

As per its multi-year deal with the FA, Saran has exclusive rights to broadcast FA Cup matches live and on-demand on its linear and digital platforms, as well as feature bonus content, including game highlights, match analysis, and carefully curated shows.

Nova Sport 2 history, coverage, features

Nova Sport 1 is a Czech television channel that is owned and operated by TV Nova. The channel was launched on September 5, 2015 as an overflow channel to Nova Sport 1, which has been considered as the most important channel of the bunch. Nova Sport 2 is part of a network that includes four channels: Nova Sport 1, Nova Sport 3, and Nova Sport 4.

Over the years, the network has been able to cover a wide variety of disciplines, which have included domestic competitions and international events and tournaments. Some of the sports covered by Nova Sport 2 and its sister channels have included ice hockey, basketball, tennis, football, mixed martial arts, rugby, darts, motorsports, and more. Nova Sport 2 has frequently been used to cover some of the top competitions where Czech or Slovakian athletes and teams have been involved.

Speaking about football, Nova Sport 2 has been used to cover domestic tournaments such as the Bundesliga, the 2. Bundesliga, the French Ligue 1, or the French Ligue 2. Other tournaments covered by this channel have included the UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Europa League, among others.

Nova Sport 2 was launched as a High-Definition channel since it saw the light, although there might be a downscaled version of the channel for those who do not have access to HD technology. Both options may be found in certain regions via certain pay-tv carriers across the Czech Republic and Slovakia, where users can get a hold of the channel.
