Zlatan Ibrahimovic looks to have played his final game for La Galaxy on Thursday, with his Major League Soccer side bowing out of the MLS Playoffs in a clash with rivals LAFC.
The two giants from LA locked horns in the MLS Cup conference semi-finals, with Carlos Vela and Co. emerging triumphant in El Trafico. The Mexican ace guided his team to a 5-3 win, netting a brace to earn their spot in the final against Seattle Sounders.
Ibrahimovic, who appeared to grab his crotch in response to a heckler when leaving the pitch, will be out of contract come December. The 38-year-old has been linked with a move away from the United States, meaning the 5-3 defeat could have been the last game in an LA Galaxy jersey for the Swedish icon.
Could Zlatan Ibrahimovic's last action in #MLS be... grabbing his junk and mouthing off to an #LAFC fan? Possibly. Kind of perfect in the worst possible way, I'd say. #LAGalaxy pic.twitter.com/shKTVeqm8g

The former AC Milan, PSG, and Man United forward scored a goal but could not save his team from elimination. Despite the defeat, Zlatan was his usual self after the final whistle, mocking the opposition and Major League Soccer as a whole when asked about the incident with the fans.
"They said something. [I'm] not being disrespectful, but this is like training for me," Ibrahimovic said, as per BBC Sport.
"The stadium is too small for me. This is a walk in the park."
Having enjoyed tremendous success with the likes of Juventus, Inter Milan, and AC Milan; Ibrahimovic has been linked with a return to Serie A, with a move to Napoli being suggested. The attacker has flirted with the idea of a move to Naples and used this to troll MLS.
"If I stay it will be good for MLS because the whole world will watch it. If I don't stay, nobody will remember what MLS is."
