Another matchday, another Lionel Messi milestone! The Barcelona skipper attained yet another unprecedented feat with a superb free-kick, capping Sunday's 4-0 thrashing of Sevilla at Camp Nou.

Lionel Messi put the icing on the cake with Barca's 301st under the Spanish manager and the Argentine concurrently landed the record of being the first player to score in 16 successive La Liga seasons in this century. Also, the spectacular free-kick was the 32-year-old Argentine's 100th goal from outside the box for his side in all competitions. 43 of such goals came from direct free-kicks.

Finally, Barcelona extended its run of not losing any of its 22 La Liga games of which Arturo Vidal has featured in. The current league title holders have managed 14 wins and eight draws in such outings.
