Matchday 5 in the Premier League is over. This round saw some clubs enjoy huge wins – names Man City and Man United – whilst other suffer disappointing draws – Liverpool and Tottenham.
Chelsea and Arsenal locked horns in a highly-anticipated Sunday clash, but the game ended in a goalless draw despite the excitement. This means the Gunners remain outside the top 10 and the Blues drop three points behind Mourinho’s table-toppers.
Romelu Lukaku remains the league’s top-scorer with five goals, but he is now tied at the top with Saturday’s hat-trick hero Sergio Aguero. Henrikh Mkhitaryan, with five, continues to lead the assists chart. Here are the top stats from the recent round.
Chelsea lose home goalscoring record
Under Antonio Conte, Chelsea have been a fearsome side at home. However, the Blues were unable to beat Arsenal at Stamford Bridge on Sunday, drawing 0-0 with Wenger’s side.
This result put an end to Chelsea’s impressive goalscoring form at home. It was the first time they failed to find the back of the net at Stamford Bridge in a competitive game since Conte took over (27 matches).
Arsenal put an end to atrocious Stamford Bridge record
Whilst Chelsea were disappointed not to win, many Arsenal fans were happy with the result. Going to Stamford Bridge and not getting a beating wasn’t bad.
The Gunners’ defense, in particular, was impressive. They put an end to their 12-year wait for a clean sheet at Stamford Bridge, not conceding at Chelsea for the first time since 2005.

Mourinho: the king of Sunday home games
Mourinho is a difficult manager to beat when the Special One is at home. On Sunday, he maintained that run, beating Everton 4-0 at Old Trafford.
That victory saw him remain the king of Sunday home games.

Liverpool reach impressive feat despite Burnley draw
The Reds failed to win for a third consecutive game (all competitions), drawing 1-1 with Burnley. Nonetheless, that point was their 1000th in the Premier League. Only three teams have won more points.
