According to the Sun, Man City will offer Jason Denayer, a 21-year-old defender previously scouted by the north London outfit, in any offer for Sanchez. Guardiola wasn’t keen on selling the Belgian youngster, but will sacrifice him for Arsenal’s 28-year-old ace.
Denayer, a center-back, spent the current campaign on loan at Sunderland. However, injury kept him on the sidelines for a lengthy spell, with Man City representatives informing the player that he is unlikely to earn playing time at the Etihad Stadium.
Wenger has insisted he won’t sell Alexis this summer. Furthermore, with the fans demanding the Frenchman leaves Arsenal this summer, a new manager might convince the Chilean to remain at the Emirates.
