New York City FC's new signing Rodney Wallace scored a beautiful goal in his sides 4-0 win over DC United at the Yankee Stadium on Sunday. The 28-year-old Costa Rican has been impressive for his side so far this season. He has scored a goal in two MLS 2017 games and is widely seen as one of the key players two watch.

Meanwhile, former Barcelona man David Villa opened his 2017 goal-scoring account with a brace in the 4-0 win. This was the third consecutive time he was scoring in NYCFC's first MLS match at home in a new season.

The Pigeons welcome Montreal Impact next Sunday at the Yankee stadium for their next MLS fixtures. The Impact settled for a 2-2 draw with Seattle Sounders on Saturday, and are still winless in the league this season.
