Tony Pulis is a manger who has faced both Chelsea and Arsenal in 15 days, losing both away fixtures by a narrow 1-0 margin. As a result, he would be able to make a good comparison between the two London squads.
However, the West Brom boss’ answer might shock many. Speaking after the Emirates Stadium defeat, he hailed Arsene Wenger’s boys as superior to Antonio Conte’s boys.
Except for a 3-0 win over the Blues, the north London outfit don’t have any bragging right over the table-toppers. Chelsea are the most in-form club right now, whilst the Gunners struggled to a 1-0 win after back-to-back defeats.
Pulis, however, had a logical explanation: “Arsenal have got a stronger squad, if you look at the players not playing, or not in the team today, and then you look at Chelsea, Arsenal have definitely got the stronger squad.”
