Spanish La Liga defending champions Barcelona have provided the latest injury update on their key player Lionel Messi. The Argentine was substituted in the 58th minute of the game for what seemed to be a groin injury.
The defending champions have officially announced that Messi will be out for at least three weeks due to what has been confirmed to be a groin injury.

Messi seemed to be struggling in the second half of the game and was seen limping several times before asking to be substituted. No sooner had he left the pitch than Angel Correa scored the equalizer for Diego Simeone’s men to end the match at 1-1. The Madrid-based club have now failed to win a league match at the Nou Camp for the past 10 years.
Midfielder Sergio Busquets, on the other hand, was replaced by Andre Gomes in the second-half due to a knee injury. However, the Spaniard's condition has not yet been revealed by the club.
Following the results, Los Blaugrana now sit at the third position on La Liga table with 10 points, just one point behind second-placed sevilla, and three points behind leaders Real Madrid. FCB face Sporting Gijon away from home in their next La Liga fixture.
