Los Blancos travel to Estadio de Riazor needing a win – and a slip from Barca – to win the league on the final day.

La Liga heads into an epic last round of the 2015/16 season, as Spain’s two biggest teams Barca and Real Madrid are will battle it out for the league crown on the final day.

The Blaugrana and Los Blancos face tricky tests away to Granada and Deportivo, respectively, on Saturday, but the Catalan giants are in the driving seat to retain the league crown given their one-point lead over Zidane’s boys.

Should Luis Enrique’s side slip, and Cristiano and Co. win, Real Madrid will win La Liga before their Champions League final date with neighbors Atletico.

Team news – who’s fit and who’s not?

The injuries woes are letting up in the Real Madrid camp, as they recently lost Keylor Navas to an ankle injury, but welcome back both the Costa Rican goalie and Dani Carvajal to training in time to feature on the weekend.

In addition, Karim Benzema and Luka Modric are both tipped to start the last game. Unfortunately, though, Gareth Bale (knee) remains a doubt, whilst Lucas Vazquez is out for the Estadio de Riazor trip.

Victor Sanchez will also be welcoming back a few players for Saturday’s game, as Celso Borges and Fernando Navarro both return from suspension. However, the home side will be without Fabricio, German Lux, and Juan Dominguez, whilst Juanfran remains a doubt.

Head to head

A win is a must for Real Madrid, as a Barca defeat will still see the reigning champions lift the title should Los Blancos fail to secure victory due to a superior head-to-head record in El Clasico this season.

Nonetheless, victory for the 10-time Champions League winners appears the likely outcome, as the Santiago Bernabeu side have won all of their last six clashed with Deportivo in all competitions.

Branquiazuis at one point boasted a six-game winning run at home against the Madrid giants, but are now without a win in their last four attempts (D1, L3), emphatically losing the last encounter 8-2.
