The newest member of the MSN attack got things settled for Barcelona when they neded him the most.
Playing against ten men due to Fernando Torres' sending off, Luis Suárez took a stand and led Los Blaugranas to a come-from-behind win, earning his 44th and 45th goals in all competitions this year. Suárez first strike came after 63 minutes, adding another one to his tally ten minutes later.
This was Suárez's 23rd appearance in the UCL, and he has already managed to score 16 goals. Only three players ever needed less games to score the same amount. Those footballers were Ruud Van Nistelrooy, Soldado and Jari Litmanen.
The Uruguayan striker is now level with Robert Lewandowski at eight goals apiece. Now, the South American footballer will try to reach Cristiano Ronaldo's tally of 13.
