After losing just their second game of the current Bundesliga season, Borussia Dortmund will try to get back on track when they face Stuttgart, a team that has represented no problems in the recent past for them. Former Borussia goalkeeper Mitchell Langerak, Martin Harnik, Robbie Kruse and Daniel Ginczek will sit out this game due to injury, while Geoffroy Serey Dié will watch the game from the stands to serve a one-match ban.

Stuttgart has not been able to defeat Borussia Dortmund in their last six meetings. The yellow and black side has won four of those games, conceding a couple of draws for Die Roten. Borussia Dortmund has scored 16 goals facing Stuttgart, who has only been able to net the ball eight times. Last year, Stuttgart took advantage of Borussia's sloppy start of the season by taking away one point from Signal Iduna Park.
