Sergio Aguero had an amazing day against Newcastle, leading Manchester City's comeback after an early goal by Mitrovic. "El Kun" managed to send the ball into the back of the net five times in a 20-minute span, joining Andy Cole, Dimitar Berbatov, Alan Shearer and Jermain Defoe as the only strikers in the English Premier League to score five goals in a single game.
Agüero's first goal came after 42 minutes had gone by, leaving the best for the second half. Just four minutes after the break, Maradona's former son-in-law netted his second goal of the evening, adding the third one minute later.
Kevin De Bruyne broke Aguero's scoring streak netting City's 4th, but the Argentine ace scored a couple on the one-hour mark and after 62 minutes, completing his historic performance. The former Atletico Madrid man was substituted by Wilfried Bony, making fan pay their respects to their hero of the day.
With this performance, Aguero has scored eight times so far this year in all competitions, despite a slow start in the domestic tournament. Here's what fans had to say about his performance today.
