Chelsea had the chance to earn a big difference against Liverpool in the CapitalOne Cupe semis, but Raheem Sterling kept the Reds' undefeated streak intact to make it 1-1 and leave everything to be decided next week at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues started with most of their top players such as Diego Costa and Eden Hazard, who put Mourinho's men ahead after transforming a penalty kick. The visitors tried hard to add a goal to their tally, but they were not accurate when facing Simon Mignolet's goal. When the game resumed, Raheem Sterling equalized with a beautiful strike that went past Thibaut Courtois just when Chelsea were playing better. This was Sterling's fourth goal in four League Cup games, and he has scored more goals than any other Liverpool striker this season.
Both sides had the opportunity to balance the game either way, but Courtois and Mignolet had a good night denying each team's strikers.
After the game, these were some comments made by both sides' fans, who will follow closely the second leg of this series.
