Earlier today, La Liga fans tuned in to see which players will be nominated at the annual LFP award ceremony.
Some winners were predictable, others not so much. A total of 26 awards were given out, with 13 for the top flight and the same number for the second division.
Diego Simeone's brilliant efforts with Atletico Madrid in the league & Europe earned him the Best Coach
Keylor Navas, a revelation at this summer's World Cup was selected as best goalkeeper
Cristiano Ronaldo not surprisingly won three awards. Here he is receiving a prize for best player
Do you know Carlos Bacca? Well he beat out Angel Di Maria and Neymar for the best South American player
Unlike in prior seasons, Barcelona only had one winner, midfield maestro Andres Iniesta. Current teammate Ivan Rakitic, who won for fair play was with Sevilla at the time
Luka Modric's classy displays in the middle of the park also earned him a prize for best midfielder
CR7 winning another of his prizes, with this one for best goal. Have a look at the video below:

The Portuguese star also expressed his joy after earning a hat-trick of trophies:

Top 3 attackers includes Carlos Vela but not Messi. Messi isn't even included in the top 3 South American players. This is hysterical #LFP

A proud Cristiano Ronaldo was keen on thanking his teammates, family, and friends for their support as well:
"I have to thank my team-mates, Real Madrid, my family... it is a very good moment in my career."
"For me, the important thing is to win collective prizes, but I like the individual ones, too. I work every day, in training, to continue adding more to [what I've won so far]."
