Univision Deportes 2014 World Cup Audience is +45% larger than 2010 World Cup through 11 Matches

Univision Deportes’ presentation of FIFA World Cup Brazil 2014™ delivered the most-viewed opening weekend in Univision Deportes World Cup history. The matches aired on the Univision Network, which was simulcast on Univision Deportes Network (UDN), from Thursday to Sunday, June 12-15, 2014.

- The opening weekend of the 2014 World Cup averaged 3.8 million Total Viewers and 2.0 million Adults 18-49, pacing ahead of its 2010 World Cup coverage by +45% among Total Viewers and +31% among Adults 18-49 through 11 matches.

- Univision Deportes’ opening match of the 2014 World Cup, Brazil vs. Croatia on June 12, is the most-viewed match for the tournament-to-date, across allnetworks regardless of language, with an average of 5.1 million Total Viewers and 2.7 million Adults 18-49.

Argentina vs. Bosnia-Herzegovina was the most-viewed match on Sunday, across all networks regardless of language, delivering 4.9 million Total Viewers, as well as 2.6 million Adults 18-49.
