Coach Harry Redknapp has given the public a clue of what to expect from his team ahead of Tuesday night’s AC Milan vs Spurs match: Harry’s men will attack the Rossoneri without fear.
“Attacking football is what got us here in the first place,” Redknapp reminded the public according to the BBC.

“We have had a go all through this competition, so we will have a right go again at San Siro.”

Confidence rules over Coach Harry Redknapp’s plans ahead of Spurs’ match on Tuesday night. Indeed, the London club’s efficiency during the group stages of the UEFA Champions League proved to be extremely influential in their qualification to the Round of 16.

Tottenham Hotspur banged as much as 18 goals in total as they recorded an average of exactly 3 goals per match. Their eventful encounters against Internazionale, for example, saw them hit 7 goals.

But Spurs’ system on the offensive seems to pose problems to their defense. After conceding 11 goals in 6 Champions League games already, some Spurs fans fear that AC Milan will teach the debutants a tough lesson. However, Harry Redknapp prefers to stick his idea all the same.

“We can score here," Tottenham’s boss said during his pre-match press conference.

“I don't want to concede bags of goals, for sure. We can't afford to make the same mistakes [we made against Inter at the San Siro] and we can't start like that again.

“We can't come out and be completely gung-ho, but what I'm saying is that I do have a problem setting a team up to defend,

“Rafael van der Vaart plays the way he plays. Niko Kranjcar and Lennon… Well, we haven't got defensive players to play with five across midfield and soak it up.

“If I had two wide men who could do a job and sit there and just be solid, I might think about it. But those type of players are not at this club.”

Harry Redknapp will have to cope with the expected absence of Gareth Bale who notched a hat-trick at the San Siro against AC Milan’s rivals Internazionale the other time. Do Tottenham Hotspur really have what it takes to upset the Rossoneri on Tuesday night?
