AFCON 2017 Qualifiers – What to Watch
Matchday 4 of the 2017 African Cup of Nations Qualifiers ends on March 29 with three interesting matches. Following Chad’s withdrawal from the qualification on Sunday, Group G has been reshuffled as points accumulated by other group contenders through their matches against Les Sao have been cancelled.

The Chadian Football Association is suspended for the upcoming edition of the AFCON and must pay the monetary fine of $20000 Dollars

This means Egypt, who now sit on top of Group G with 4 points out of two validated games, are currently the only team in position to advance to the final tournament. Second place Nigeria – now deprived of their chances of qualifying based on rankings – however stand a chance of turning things around when they face the Pharaohs away at the Borg El Arab Stadium in Alexandria.
