À propos Persian Gulf Pro League
Histoire, format, organisation, couverture médiatique de Persian Gulf Pro League
La Persian Gulf Pro League est la ligue de première division en Iran. Cette compétition, également connue sous le nom de Persian Gulf Cup, a été fondée en 1970 mais n'est devenue une ligue professionnelle qu'en 2001. La saison débute généralement en juillet/août et se termine en avril/mars de l'année suivante. La ligue fonctionne avec un système de promotion/relégation, les deux dernières équipes au classement descendant en Azadegan League, la deuxième division iranienne.
