From Rooney to Suarez, to Sturridge and even an unlikely strike from a Norwich midfielder scoring his first ever Premier League goal.

Is this Wayne Rooney's greatest ever goal ahead of his volley against Manchester City or his debut goal for Everton against Arsenal? The Premier League has offered some spectacular moments this season but nothing quite beats a festival of the best goals of the season.

There have been some long range screamers, some ticky-tacky one-touch displays and some goals scored that barely escape the training-pitch.  However, as the talent in the Premier League has grown of late so have the range of varying strikes.

So here it goes, LiveSoccerTV presents the top 10 goal of the campaign…

10. Jesus Navas’ sharp finish vs. Tottenham Hotspur

The rapid little Spaniard scored the quickest goal of the season against Tottenham Hotspur after just 14 seconds, and what a strike it was. The angle seemed near impossible but his ability to get the ball up and over Hugo Lloris before it chipped in off the post was exquisite. The goal began a 6-0 riot over the troubled North London side in an emphatic display at the Etihad. Who knew that little men from Spain had the bottle to unleash power like this?

9. Sandro’s rocket vs. Manchester United

The “Beast” at White Hart Lane scored a blistering solo effort in a frantic game against Manchester United. He powered his way through the midfield before hitting a rocket of a strike beyond a helpless David de Gea. It is said that smoke still exists in the air after the Brazilian’s thunderous effort. Quite frankly, de Gea did the right thing in staying out of the way.

8. Daniel Sturridge sassy lob vs. Everton

Sturridge has become famous this year for three things: first, being a member of the renowned SAS duo, secondly creating the most bizarre celebration to man and to top it off, scoring some special goals such as this one in the Merseyside derby at Anfield. The intensity at the beginning of the game was soon washed over as the Reds simply wiped the floor with their neighbours, showing them whose boss. The England forward continued his cheeky antics with an delicate lob over Tim Howard which demonstrated his marvelous confidence.

7. Wayne Rooney’s cracking half-volley vs. Crystal Palace

How many times do we see players putting efforts like these into Row Z? Rooney barely penetrated the box at Selhurst Park in this game but when he did, his strike was accurate and deadly. His body shape exemplifies mastering the technique and design here, whilst the power in his shot gives an emphatic feel to it, adding the goal to yet another splendid finish in Rooney’s catalogue of wonderful goals.

6. Frank Lampard’s long range free-kick vs. Hull City

Match-day one of the season saw the England veteran hit a crisp 30-yard free-kick against newly promoted Hull City in a 2-0 victory. The sheer power of the shot caught Allan McGregor out from the point Lampard hit the ball. It reminisces a perfect gold-winning archery shot due to it’s accuracy and effectiveness.

5. Jack Wilshire’s tap in from a beautiful Arsenal move vs. Norwich City

Arsenal were on fire at the beginning of the season and this goal emphasised their quality and confidence.  Jack Wilshere started a sweeping move that began deep in his own half, involving numerous Arsenal team-mates before he popped up in the area to run on to Olivier Giroud's flick and cushion a first-time shot into the net.  This is an example of pure elegance and belief in your own ability.

4. Alexander Tettey’s thunderous volley vs. Sunderland

The quiet but busy Norwegian doesn’t tend to shoot that much from midfield but when he did against Sunderland he blew the roof off of Carrow Road. Fantastic technique, balance and spontaneity saw a goal that reproduced a bullet-like shot and to add further measure on the volley, the aesthetics of the strike would look even better in HD or 3D. Unfortunately for the Canaries, Tettey’s wonder-goal may not be enough to savor their Premier League status.  Although, despite Norwich’s struggles, this isn’t a bad goal for your first in the Premier League.

3. Luis Suarez’s third against vs. Norwich City

This was the game that everyone saw the World-Class ability of Luis Suarez. A stunning four-piece demolition in front of the Kop in December included a peach of a strike from a long way out on the half-volley, 40-yards to be exact  The shot was dispatched with creativity and intelligence which left John Ruddy utterly helpless. It seems long range efforts from impossible distances proved a favorable way of scoring this season.

2. Pajtim Kasami’s van Basten look-a-like vs. Crystal Palace

October saw an exact replica finish to Marco van Basten’s famous volley from an acute angle but this time around it was scored by a Swiss midfielder. 21-year-old Kasami changed the face of the game against Crystal Palace with wonderful control. He smartly took Sascha Reither’s floated pass on his chest on the right-hand edge of the penalty area before letting loose a crashing volley, seeing his shot dipping over Julian Speroni into the top-left had corner of the net. Simply stunning.

1. Wayne Rooney’s 56-yard strike vs. West Ham United

As soon as he hit it we all thought it… whose goal is better? Rooney’s or Beckham’s? England are blessed with a man who has the strength and belief in his ability to do something like this. The mental capacity to even think of hitting the ball from 56 yards is crazy, especially on the half-volley but his inventiveness has to be admired. He will try this again and again in the training ground but this is a one-off special, although he did brand it the second best goal he ever scored after his over-head bicycle kick against Manchester City in 2012.
