Brazilian ace Eder Militao later explained the reasons why he felt dizzy as he addressed Spanish reporters for the first time.

One more player has joined Real Madrid this summer, but things did not go as planned during his first appearance in front of Spanish journalists.

Brazilian center back Eder Militao completed his move from Porto to Real Madrid, following his performance in the 2019 Copa America with Brazil. The 21-year-old footballer was unveiled at Santiago Bernabeu Stadium by president Florentino Pérez, and as he took the podium, he spoke about his childhood dream of playing for Real Madrid.

Later, during the Q&A session with Spanish journalists, Militao was speaking about the influence Pepe and Iker Casillas had on his decision to join the Spanish side. Right after that reply, the player started acting a little weird.

Just when a journalist was asking a question about having him play alongside Neymar, Militao struggled to catch his breath. He tried to loosen his tie and started drinking water. Then, he turned to his left and told team ambassador Alvaro Arbeloa that he was not feeling alright.

With the Spanish media looking on, Militao excused himself out of the press room, where he was able to calm down.

Here is how things went down.

Later, a spokesman for the club told Spanish newspaper As that the footballer was overly excited and nervous. Added to that, Militao had a long flight, he had just undergone the routine medical examination and failed to get something to eat before the ceremony, which eventually took a toll on him.

Real Madrid fans will surely be hopeful to see Militano away from any of these problems when he steps into the Bernabeu...
