The final of this year’s Champions League risks becoming a major letdown due to hoteliers exponentially raising their prices.
According to Trivago, hotels in Lisbon are charging more than 4 times what English hotels charged when the final was played at Wembley stadium.
On the night of the game, a three-star room in the center of the Portuguese city could cost up to €5000, which is an enormity, considering equivalent hotels in London would charge approximately €350.
