With only one game left to be played by each team, Mexico and Costa Rica have sealed their spots in next year's World Cup. The USMNT currently have the upper hand to win the other straight ticket to Russia, while Panama and Honduras hope for Trinidad & Tobago to shock Arena's men.

This is how CONCACAF's table looks after nine games apiece.

Each team's needs ahead of the final game

Mexico: Already qualified. Osorio's men want to set a new record with more than 22 points, which would happen if they win.

Costa Rica: Already qualified.

USMNT: A win secures them the 3rd ticket to Russia.

Panama: Beating Costa Rica nearly guarantees them the ticket to the playoff stage. A loss, combined with a win by Honduras, would see them finish fifth and out of the World Cup.

Honduras: "La H" can't afford dropping points. Losing agaisnt Mexico would confirm their elimination. A draw would make them dream of the playoff spot, but Panama has to lose for them to thump them out of fourth place.

Trinidad & Tobago: Eliminated.
